Historically, myrrh has been used in many ways: from meditations to embalming in ancient Egypt. Myrrh was first mentioned 3,700 years ago, making it the oldest known perfume. The ancient Egyptians used myrrh to embalm their mummies. In addition, it was used as perfume, dental care and was a remedy for many infections. Myrrh is found in doTERRA's Myrrh oil.
