Cassia essential oil is closely related to Cinnamon oil and has been used for over thousands of years for its many health benefits. It is one of the few essential oils mentioned in the Old Testament. In this, it is mentioned for its unmistakable fragrance and soothing aromatic properties.
This oil promotes digestion and has soothing properties. It is a “warming” oil that helps support healthy immune function and in the cold months helps warm up the body. Cassia is a hot oil. For this reason, it should be diluted with a base oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, when applied to the skin.
