Cypress contains monoterpenes, making it beneficial for oily skin. The oil has a pungent but also stimulating effect on the emotions, making it a popular oil. The oil can be supportive during times of transition or loss.
Cypress oil was originally used to improve breathing and as a gargle for the throat. It was also used by healers to relax tense, stuck muscles and locally, where needed, to support blood flow. A blend of Cypress and Grapefruit is still used today in SPA therapies. The oil can help well with restless legs and varicose veins.

Applications*
- Cypress under the feet and on the legs can provide a powerful boost.
- Apply two to three drops to the chest to promote vitality and energy.
- Combine the oil in a diffuser with Lime oil for a refreshing scent.
- Mix the oil with Grapefruit and fractionated coconut oil for a refreshing massage oil.
- Add 1 to 2 drops to a toner. This can improve oily skin.
