doTERRA Wintergreen (Wintergreen) Essential Oil (15ml)

In rugged Nepal, doTERRA’s minty essential oil Wintergreen (Wintergreen) is extracted from the leaves of a creeping shrub. The oil contains a unique chemical component called methyl salicylate which has strong calming properties. This chemical component occurs naturally in only two plants worldwide: birch and wintergreen.

Cherished for its many benefits, Wintergreen essential oil is commonly found in lotions, creams and oral hygiene products. The oil has a calming effect and is therefore an ideal component for massages, it can be compared to the Deep Blue oil. The scent is sweet, minty and refreshing and can be both uplifting and stimulating to the senses.

Applications Wintergreen Oil *

• For a warming and soothing experience, add Wintergreen oil to some FCO and massage your muscles with it before a workout.
• A few drops in the diffuser brings the freshness of the oil into the home. This activates and stimulates the senses.
• After a long day, take some time to relax. A bath with Wintergreen provides a soothing effect.
