Nardus herb is a native plant, found in the Himalayas, belonging to the Valerian family. It produces small, delicate, pink flowers and grows well in the high mountains of the Himalayas. Spikenard oil is made from the roots of the plant and is produced by steam distillation. Applications*

• When used aromatically, Spikenard can promote feelings of relaxation and calmness.
• The oil has good grounding properties making it a popular oil for aromatherapy and meditation. It can also be used well in massage.
• Add a few drops of Spikenard to daily skin cleansers, or skin creams to promote healthy, glowing skin.
• The oil can be used well as a personal perfume. The oil can also be combined with the following oils to create a personalized essential oil perfume: Clove, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender or Wild Orange.
