The ancient Egyptians used myrrh to embalm their mummies. In addition, it was used as perfume, dental care and was a remedy for many infections. Myrrh is found in doTERRA’s Myrrh oil. Myrrh is an excellent, soothing oil for the skin; it promotes smooth, youthful-looking skin while also promoting emotional balance and well-being. Myrrh can be applied for inducing appetite, relieving asthma and for problems/sores in the mouth. Furthermore, the oil is widely used in prayer and meditation. Applications Myrrh Oil *

• Add 1-2 drops to toothpaste for additional cleansing benefits.
• Myrrh in a diffuser can promote awareness and lift your mood.
• Add the oil to lotion or moisturizer to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• 1-2 drops in tea with honey can soothe the stomach.
