Description of the plant

The dill plant, Anethum graveolens, is an annual plant commonly grown in herb, vegetable and flower gardens. The plant usually grows to a meter or two to three high. The plant's stems are stiff and hollow and covered with aromatic, blue-green leaves that are separated into thin, thread-like segments. The flowers of the plant are yellow and grow in flattened compound umbels.1 doTERRA Dill essential oil is extracted from the seed of the plant.
