The ancient Egyptians used myrrh to embalm their mummies. In addition, it was used as a perfume, dental care and was a cure for many infections. The myrrh is found in the Myrrh oil from doTERRA.
Myrrh is an excellent soothing oil for the skin; it promotes smooth, youthful looking skin as well as emotional balance and well-being. Myrrh can be used to stimulate the appetite, to soothe asthma and for problems/sores in the mouth. Furthermore, the oil is often used in prayer and meditation. It is said that the scent evokes clarity, insight and inner peace.
