Copaiba oil is extracted from the copaiba trees in the Amazon rainforest. The essential oil is steam distilled from the copaiba oleoresin, a substance composed of resin and essential oils. The process of collecting the oleoresin is unique among essential oils. It is tapped from the tree in the same way that maples are tapped for their syrup. The oleoresin is then steam distilled to produce the essential oil.

Where Frankincense is the king of oils , Copaiba is the queen of oils. Copaiba is used worldwide in cosmetic products such as soaps, creams, lotions and perfumes. The oil can help to relieve anxious feelings and can be used on the skin to soothe the skin. Internally, the oil can support a healthy immune system and reduce inflammation.
