Emotions and essential oils

Our emotional health can directly affect how the rest of our body feels and functions. When we get into emotional stress it lowers our overall quality of life and how we feel from day to day. Emotional health affects how we make decisions, how we interact with others, and how we react to events in daily life. Things like stress, anxious feelings, changes in the weather, and a host of troubling (but common) emotions can negatively affect our mood. No matter what affects us, it’s important to find tools and ‘coping’ methods to counter negative emotions – otherwise it can seriously impact our quality of life.

Nervous System

The nervous system is the communication channel of your body. The nerves send and receive messages that allow you to think, feel, process sensory information and control movement. The nervous system is also responsible for emotions. Learning to balance negative emotions can help balance the nervous system. Essential oils can help calm the body, generate a positive mood and support a healthy nervous system.

Reproduction

The functioning of the reproductive system can be affected by stress, toxins and lifestyle factors. Essential oils have been used for hundreds of years to help deal with the effects of hormonal imbalance, support mood and encourage feelings of love and romance.

Muscles and bones

The musculoskeletal system consists of the muscles, bones and connective tissue in your body. It supports the body and makes movement possible. Skin and Hair

The integumentary system consists of the hair, skin, nails and exocrine glands.
