Air from dōTERRA

The most important thing we must realize is that we must allow ourselves to get everything out of life. Some are not aware that they are not breathing properly. Our breathing is shallow when we are stressed or anxious and unfortunately this occurs daily. Air from dōTERRA helps us to improve our breathing and deal with stress and anxiety in the process.

Air blend is a remarkable composition of essential oils. It is one of the oils that you actually want to have with you at all times to promote healthy breathing. This blend, with its composition of powerful essential oils, ensures the receiving and giving of love on an emotional level and supports an open attitude. The oils found in this blend are: Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, Ravintsara and Ravensara.

Applying Air

This blend mixes well with Spearmint, Wild Orange, Bergamot and Lime in a diffuser. Air is ideal for healthy airways, an open mind and balance in the heart. You can apply a few drops to the chest, back or bottom of the feet. For a good night’s sleep, the diffuser can be used. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, Air can ease seasonal discomforts.

Breathing & Loving

In order to fully enjoy life, it is important that we can breathe properly. Because there is a lot of stress and anxiety in our society, we breathe very shallowly. It is good, when we realize this, to take a break, breathe and ask ourselves what we are afraid of. To support this breathing and give balance to our hearts, we use Air as aromatherapy. We can use this to transform our feelings of sadness and grief into love and the strength to open up fully and embrace life.

Air self-application

  1. Throat: Mix 2 drops of Air, 4 drops of Lavender and 2 drops of Basil in a roller with a little basic oil and apply on the neck (on the skin). Use Air Respiratory Drops.
  2. Seasonal Discomforts: Apply the oil under the nose and on the soles of the feet as often as needed.
  3. Winter support: Put 2-3 drops in hot water in a cup and inhale. Apply to the chest and back.
  4. Healthy breathing: Drop 1 drop into your hand, rub your hands and inhale or use in a diffuser. Apply to the chest, neck and bridge of the nose. Drink Lemon oil in a glass of warm water during the day.
  5. Before sports: Apply Air to the chest and under the feet before exercise.
  6. Vapor Stick: This stick gives a slight cooling effect. Apply it to the chest, back and feet. This stick has all the benefits of the oil, but is easier to apply.
  7. Good night’s sleep: Spray 2-3 drops in a diffuser. Use a few drops on the spot where the toes are attached to the foot. This supports healthy breathing while sleeping.
  8. Letting Go: Release the trapped energy of grief and mourning. Inhale the oil and say: It is good to let go of the sadness (breathe out). I allow myself love (breath in).
